Traditional Thai Massage (oil-free!)

Traditional Thai massage (also known as Nuad massage) is more than just a massage. The combination of gentle movements, acupressure, guided stretching exercises, massage, and reflexology stimulates the energy pathways in your body. This firm massage utilizes various techniques, such as palm, thumb, elbow, and/or even the masseuse’s full body weight, to harmonize body and mind and release blockages.

Thai massage has a positive effect on fatigue, back and neck pain, headaches, stiff muscles and joints, and poor circulation. During the massage, you wear comfortable Thai pajamas, which we provide. No oil is used during this treatment; Thai tiger balm may be available upon request.

This treatment can be booked from 60 minutes!

Thai Sports Massage

This massage is the most vigorous form of Thai massage and certainly not suitable for everyone. You’ll receive a firm massage, releasing any knots from your muscles and loosening connective tissue. The massage promotes the removal of waste products from your body. This allows your body to recover more quickly, for example, after intense exercise, but it can also activate your muscles before exercise to prevent injuries. If you already have an injury, a sports massage will speed up recovery. Please note that we leave the actual treatment of injuries to doctors and/or physiotherapists.

Even if you don’t do sports, the massage can be pleasant to remove knots from your muscles and to loosen everything up properly.

Because a sports massage is quite vigorous, it’s not suitable immediately before or after strenuous exercise. This would overload your muscles and could cause adverse effects. If you’d like a massage before strenuous exercise, you can opt for a gentler massage, such as an aroma and oil relaxation massage. This massage also promotes blood circulation and activates your muscles, but without overloading them.

Aromatherapy / Oil massage

Aromatherapy combines the finest essential oils selected by Saijai Wellness in Thailand with a therapeutic massage, which can be gentle or firm.

Aromatherapy is the perfect choice if you want to unwind and relax. This treatment helps strengthen the immune system and is also helpful for sleep problems, headaches, or poor circulation.

Thai Herbal Stamp Massage

This treatment with warm herbal sachets, composed of cleansing, energizing, and relaxing herbs from Thailand, stimulates blood circulation and relaxes muscles. The beneficial combination with a relaxing oil massage of the back, shoulders, and head helps to release any remaining tension.

Note: This massage can be booked for a minimum of 90 minutes.

NB. 2 For hygiene reasons, you will need to purchase the herbal stamps from us. They cost €10 extra, and you can take them home with you afterward if you wish, and you can bring them back to your next treatment. We only use the herbal stamps once; they are not used for other clients!

Foot reflexology

Stimulating the reflex points on the feet has a soothing, therapeutic effect on the entire body. Foot massage is part of traditional Thai massage and is based on foot reflexology.

In addition to manual massage, Thai foot massage also uses pressure point sticks. These special wooden sticks stimulate specific pressure points in the feet, improving blood circulation in the feet and legs and promoting healthy organ function.

Back/neck/shoulder massage (with or without oil)

Thai Back/Neck/Shoulder Massage is a combination of pressure point therapy and traditional Thai massage techniques. This invigorating treatment focuses on the tension points of the neck, shoulders, and back and is a wonderful way to relax, release accumulated stress, loosen muscles, and reduce pain. You can choose a treatment with or without oil.

Thai head massage

Thai Head Massage is more than the name suggests. During this massage, your head, neck, face, and part of your shoulders are massaged. A relaxing massage, it’s often effective against neck and headaches. Common causes include prolonged sedentary (computer) work or maintaining the same posture.

People who are stressed or tense can experience a tight and painful feeling in their head, neck, and shoulders. Tension in the shoulders and neck also often causes headaches. Approximately 70% of all headaches are caused by tension in the neck and shoulders.
Thai Head Massage utilizes both pressure point therapy and Thai massage techniques. It’s a unique massage method for improving blood circulation and releasing muscle tension. This massage focuses primarily on the neck and shoulders. Through intensive kneading and stroking, the muscles are loosened and toxins are removed. The massage is complemented by a relaxing head massage.

This massage can be performed while sitting or lying down. It’s easier for the masseur/masseuse to use oil, but this massage can also be performed without it if desired. You’ll always be asked beforehand how you’d like the massage, with or without oil.
